At the heart of the United Methodist tradition is a deep commitment to loving God and loving others. Our beliefs are rooted in Scripture, guided by tradition, informed by reason, and confirmed through personal experience.
We believe in one God, revealed in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who is Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all life.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully human and fully divine, who came to save us from sin. Through His life, death, and resurrection, we are offered forgiveness, new life, and the promise of eternal life.
We believe the Holy Spirit is present and active in the world today, guiding, comforting, convicting, and empowering believers to live faithful, transformed lives.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the primary authority for our faith and practice. It reveals God’s truth and His love for humanity.
We believe that salvation is a gift from God, made possible by grace through Jesus Christ.
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, make disciples of Jesus Christ, and serve the world in love.
We celebrate two sacraments:
We believe in living out our faith through acts of love, justice, mercy, and service. We are called to grow in holiness of heart and life, loving our neighbors as ourselves.
